RACE DAY SCHEDULE
REGISTRATION
3:00-4:00 pm
Come pick up race day items, like your t-shirt and bib, as well as complete any necessary registration details before the big race. Registration for the 5K ends when the race begins, and registration for the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will continue until the Fun Run/Walk begins at 5:30 pm.
5K RACE
4:00-5:30 pm
The big event! Race will start promptly at 4:00 pm. Extra time is allotted for all participants to complete the race, as well as set up for the Fun Run/Walk.
1 MILE FUN RUN/WALK
5:30-6:30 pm
Following the 5K, we will begin the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. Registration for the Fun Run/Walk participants will end at 5:30 pm when the event begins.
RACE AWARDS & COSTUME CONTEST
7:00-8:00 pm
Awards include Overall Male and Female, 1st place and Age Group Awards (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place). Costume contest winners will be announced during this time.
ABOUT OUR EVENT
The Beta Rho Chapter of Phi Delta Chi is proud to hold their 3rd annual 5K with a portion of the proceeds going towards the St. Jude Cancer Research Hospital. Phi Delta Chi is a national professional pharmacy fraternity and the Beta Rho chapter is located at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo. St Jude Cancer Research Hospital are committed to advance research in the field of pediatric cancer.
